DO YOU FIND IT DIFFICULT TO TALK ON THE PHONE?

If you are a doctor or medical student who would prefer to access our peer listening and support service via email, please use the address below:

Safeguarding your anonymity is important, so please be assured that we will:

a)     never pass your email address to anyone outside the organisation, nor will we

b)     give your email address to our volunteers. Their reply will be sent to you via the staff in the office, who will forward it to you.

c)     you may want to consider using an email address which does not reveal your name.  You can set up a free email service with an anonymous email address with several providers including Hotmail, GoogleMail and Yahoo!

Please note:

• We do not use an automatic response.

• We aim to reply to you within 4 days. 
• Emails are answered by our volunteers on a rotational basis.  If you ask for help again, we will try and pass to the person responding the content of previous emails to avoid confusion or repetition.
• After 30 days, we will delete all messages. 
• We offer peer support and do not give advice or diagnose.  We will signpost you to other appropriate sources of help if thought helpful.

We regret our service is funded for doctors and medical students who are residents of the United Kingdom only.
